Until then, insight is affordable and can go on your merc and you can rock a clay golem or an iron golem with a different aura. You can switch up if the merc gets pride or infinity, but the issue is as you build your army (if you don’t use corpses out front of Nililthak) pride causes your merc to turn corpses to ice, infinity also has CB which will get more use on your merc. I’d make pride on my iron golem and give my merc infinity. I’d go with king leoric as your summon wand, pull it out of your inventory to summon then swap to beast, keeping cta on the swap. Long term you’ll want an enigma and a call to arms. Infinity for conviction aura (1/2 of CEs damage is fire, since you’ll be amping or decrpifying mobs, you won’t want to use lower resist) Hoto and/or arm of king leoric for summoning There are a number of auras you’re looking to get late game: Until then a clay golem will help more as a heavy slow.

Iron golem is better when your late game geared and can make it with a beast or some such. Revive is a skill you only want to use on mobs with special abilities, urdars being the most obvious for their crushing blow chance.

The synergy bonus from bone wall is greater than the hard point gains from pumping armor itself. You can buff your golems a bit, or you can put 1 into bone armor and pump bone wall. You can determine where you want extra points to go. 1 point in bone armor, revive, summon resist
